Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is solid.

Platforms

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.

Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. It does factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works depends on you.
