Tab Trade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
